The Lake Oconee Builders Association announces the return of The Big Event on Saturday, March 20, 2027, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Oconee Church in Greensboro, Georgia. The free event brings together local businesses and family-friendly fun for a spring day out in the Lake Oconee area. Whether exploring ideas for their homes, browsing vendor booths or enjoying food trucks and community entertainment, visitors will find plenty to experience at The Big Event.

From fresh ideas for home projects to inspiration for outdoor living, The Big Event connects visitors with local businesses, skilled professionals and artisan vendors. Attendees can explore home furnishings, discover products and services for their homes, browse unique handcrafted goods and talk directly with the people behind businesses serving the Lake Oconee area.

The Lake Oconee Builders Association is now welcoming exhibitors for the 2027 event. Businesses and artisans interested in showcasing their products and services and connecting with potential customers can find booth information at lobalive.com/the-big-event.

“Local businesses are an important part of what makes the Lake Oconee area a great place to live and work,” said Wendy Daniel, executive officer of the Lake Oconee Builders Association. “The Big Event gives our members a chance to share their expertise and build relationships with the people they serve.”

The Kids Zone and community entertainment will return this year, with specific activities to be announced. Food vendors add to the day’s offerings, giving visitors another reason to stay awhile and enjoy the event. For easy access to the event, Askew Appliance is sponsoring a shuttle service for attendees.

The event is supported by its Platinum sponsors, Braswell Construction Group, Brown Haven Homes, F5 Services, Griffin Lumber, and Landmark Construction and Development.
